As many as nine USB ports are available to help folks with older devices charge on long trips. #KIA MPV 2022 ANDROID#Likewise, a host of standard consumer tech comes standard, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features multi-Bluetooth connectivity. You can also tack on the available blind-spot view monitor, highway driving assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, parking collision avoidance, and a surround-view monitor, if you want to see what’s around your car, from the comfort of your new Carnival. #KIA MPV 2022 DRIVER#Standard features include forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, parking distance warning-reverse, lane-keeping assist system, driver attention warning, and high beam assist. Kia is also not shy about stuffing this family-oriented ride with active safety goodies. The updated powertrain is sound enough to tow 3,500 pounds, plenty for a small boat and trailer. This is a small bump over the outgoing models, which used the smaller 3.3-liter V6 engine rated at 276 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. That power travels to the front wheels by way of an eight-speed automatic transmission. Powering the Kia Carnival is a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 making 290 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The boxier styling might make this people mover more attractive to the minivan detractors, but it still has the creature comforts you want from your minivan, er, multipurpose vehicle, namely, lots of seating options, sliding side doors, and a big rear hatch. The 2022 Kia Carnival probably won’t be tackling the Rubicon anytime soon, but it will look more interesting than your first-generation Sedona. ![]() The major changes to the Carnival aren’t so much in its underpinnings as in the design language. More important than the name change, this newest Kia isn’t a minivan: Kia insists that this is new Carnival is a multipurpose vehicle that fills the void between a minivan and an SUV. Kia has pivoted to the global name for its minivan, now dubbing the family hauler Carnival in the US market. For 2022, it looks like Kia is doing exactly that with its new Sedona-only it’s not called the Sedona anymore. With shrinking space in the market, it only makes sense for automakers to rethink what the minivan represents in their lineups. While the minivan has changed how families move en masse, it’s become lame. Let’s face it: The minivan is a four-letter word to some parents. Kia’s upcoming people mover can tow 3,500 pounds thanks to a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 that makes 290 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque.Kia is rebooting its minivan to give it an edgier, boxier look to help fight the stigma of the minivan. The 2022 Kia Carnival takes the place of Kia’s outgoing Sedona in the US market. ![]()

![]() ![]() So this "proof" is really nonsense.Įarwax candling hasn't been proven scientifically to have any benefit whatsoever. ![]() The only problem is that the same debris shows up in both burned and unburned candles. All of the wax that was in your ear can be located inside the hollow part of the candle which can be broken up when you're done with your 15 minutes of ear candling. Now, there are supposedly special candles used in this "procedure". Also, a candle doesn't have the type of seal needed to maintain pressure. It would require a significant amount of pressure to move earwax around and a candle just isn't capable of creating that amount of pressure. This practice has a few issues, like the fact that the physics simply don't work. But cleaning your ears like this can be dangerous. Any wax that might be clogged up in your ear can, theoretically, be pulled out by this amount of pressure. The wax inside of your ear, then, is pulled outward, towards the freedom of the open world. Here's how earwax candling theoretically works: You create a pressure differential by shoving the candle into your ear, wick side out. So, after doing some study, you discover a technique called earwax candling. You know you're not supposed to use cotton swabs (which is good, cotton swabs are not an ideal way to clean out your ears, in general). #Ear wax removal candle how to#So the basic setup goes like this: Perhaps you have an excessive amount of earwax and you aren't really sure how to eradicate it. But even though the sensible choice is quite obvious, knowing more about the dangers of earwax candling will help us make an informed choice. ![]() Why then do normally logical people persistently believe in this pseudo-science. Is ear candling effective and what is it? Is Ear Candling Effective? In some communities, the practice called "ear candling" is persistently thought to be a good way to minimize earwax. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That sounds like a lot of work and waste to get rid of diffraction spikes. I'm not sure if they did over 4 times the primary mirror grinding just to use an off-axis circle-ellipse that's less than a quarter the area of the mirror. They've been built by hobbyist astronomers (even with truss tubes holding the secondary/eyepiece section and a "tube" made out of cloth to block stray light). Yes that does seem like the best possible scope design. Perhaps if relative costs for these telescopes come down in the future, they will be more common. I am not saying that stray light or diffraction effects are never a problem, just that this is not a top problem and, if we need to trade down in size at all for an off-axis design, most astronomers would not accept it. If a nearby star is producing a bothersome diffraction spike, one can usually rotate the field to avoid this. ![]() Galaxies are not bright enough to produce diffraction patterns and the issue of stray light from nearby bright objects is far less of a problem than the foreground stars, zodiacal light, and night sky light actually in the line of sight. There is additional strain required to rotate and support an asymmetric structure like this, i.e. Diffraction spikes professional#The total weight of optics and supporting structures of professional telescopes can be many tons. The extra mechanical costs may be greater than the extra costs for the optics. However, for most astronomical work the additional costs are just not worth it, yet. Off-axis is particularly helpful in solar observations because it reduces stray light and eliminates a rotating diffraction pattern which can be severe when the sun is the target. There is a 1.6 meter off-axis telescope for solar observation at Big Bear Observatory called the New Solar Telescope (NST). ![]() ![]() ![]() These fees and commissions do not influence the amount a customer pays.
